I live with my owners Michael and Jackie in Poquoson, Virginia

I have a dog friend that keeps me company when my owner is at work. Her name is Mary Jane. We don’t quite know what breed she is but she knows how to play tug of war.. With her size, I can tell you that I ALWAYS win!

My top favorite activities:

Like most whippets, I love to play and chase rabbits. I’ve almost caught a few but just as I’m about to reach the prize, I get yelled at.🫩

I have plenty of toys. I love the ones that have a squeaker inside. I’ll pull the stuffing out just to get it out. All that work just to have it taken away!🫩

I get to go outside a lot. I get into trouble every now and then. I used to dig under the fence to see what was out front, but that was scrapped when my owner put rocks near the fence line. All I want to do is play. 😊

The worst thing I ever chewed up was: One of my owner’s hearing aids. The only thing that made it bad was that after they found the good one they started looking for the other one. Well, all they found was what was left of the battery and tubing!

When I grow up I want to…

I’ve thought long and hard about what I’d like to be when I do finally grow up. I want to be a Couch Potato. I have all the qualifications to become a Master in this field. Here’s my resume….

I will also tell an embarrassing secret about myself….I pee on my front paws when I go. I did not lift my rear leg for the longest time, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. With all the washing after each time, I do have the cleanest front paws of any whippet that I know.

I do not have any social media outlets right now, but who knows. Somewhere down the line I might. For now, I’m just enjoying being with Mary Jane and my owners, Michael and Jackie. I love all the photos of my siblings that are posted on all the different holidays. I’ll see if I can get some apparel and join in this coming year! I also had so much fun seeing some of them again at one of the recent annual reunions!
